Currently, Miryante Community Centre provides services to 70 orphans and vulnerable children through Miryante Foster Program and 30 orphans and vulnerable children with medical complications through St. Gyavira Buyende Home. The greatest need of Miryante Community Centre is sponsors to pay for the expenses of the children who are receiving services both in the home and the community. These expenses include the cost of food, clothing, school fees, medical expenses, and money to pay the caretakers and social workers. Miryante Community Centre relies on donations to meet the costs of providing for all the unsponsored children.
St. Gyavira Buyende Home is in need of land and a structure to provide an office, a counseling room and temporary housing for orphans and vulnerable children in case of emergency placement. Miryante Community Centre is raising money to purchase land and build a structure, pit latrine, and dig a shallow well.
